Mehul Desai, Project Executive, works closely with Saxum’s construction and development teams to lead projects through the lifecycle from development to completion. Mehul has over 26 years of experience in the construction industry and has managed development projects on a national scale across multiple verticals including multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, self storage, educational facilities, places of worship and historical façade restorations. Mehul started his career as a pre-construction estimator, continually taking on positions of increasing responsibility and complexity throughout his decades in the industry. Mehul leads the execution of Saxum’s Cold Storage, Dry Industrial, Mixed Use and Multifamily verticals.
Mehul has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and Master’s in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He is a licensed Construction Superintendent by the NYC Department of Buildings and a certified LEED AP through the U.S. Green Building Council.
