San Antonio Cold Storage

Saxum Real Estate, in partnership with Vukota Capital Management, completed a build-to-suit cold storage facility for tenant Mucci Farms located in San Antonio, TX. Mucci Farms, one of the largest distributers of greenhouse vegetables in North America, has leased back 54,000 square feet in San Antonio, TX under a long-term lease.

The San Antonio facility enables Mucci Farms to advance its growth in the southern United States through closer partnerships with farms in Mexico by offering reduced food miles and carbon footprint. The new facility also allows the company to distribute its full lineup of products to the region in a timelier manner, thus allowing consumers to take greater advantage of the maximum shelf life of the produce.
