Chris Vitiello, Controller, oversees Saxum’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal control functions. He is also responsible for enhancing communication and coordination between Saxum’s Accounting and Property Management teams.
Chris has 13 years of experience across both public and private accounting. Prior to joining Saxum, he worked for national and regional accounting firms, gaining extensive experience in taxation and audit across a variety of industries. This background enabled him to advise clients on tax treatments, accounting methods, and internal control best practices.
Chris also served as an accountant in the food and beverage sector for one of the nation’s fastest-growing private-label coffee manufacturers. In that role, he managed financial reporting, account oversight, the development of operational procedures, and inventory control.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Sacred Heart University and an M.S. in Business Management from the City University of New York. Chris is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
