Douglas Reitz, as Director of Asset Management, is responsible for executing asset level business plans to maximize the overall financial performance of the firm’s portfolio.
Doug brings 12 years of diverse institutional real estate experience including accounting, asset management, and acquisitions. Prior to joining Saxum, Doug was Senior Vice President – Northeast & Midwest Acquisitions for AIG Global Real Estate (AIGGRE). At AIGGRE, he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of acquisition and development opportunities across major property types throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions. Doug was integral in the development and implementation of AIGGRE’s multifamily value-add and industrial “Class B” acquisition strategies and has closed 50 transactions totaling $2.7B across 7.8MM SF of commercial space, including 6,300 apartment units.
Doug received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
