Sridhar (Sri) Vankayala is Director of Capital Markets at Saxum Real Estate, where he leads the firm’s institutional capital markets strategy and execution across its national portfolio. Sri oversees debt and joint-venture equity initiatives, guiding capital formation, structuring, and lender and partner relationships to support Saxum’s growth and long-term investment vision.
With more than two decades of global experience, Sri brings a deep understanding of capital markets, structured finance, and relationship-driven execution. Before joining Saxum in 2021, he spent 12 years with Cushman & Wakefield in New York as a Managing Director in the Equity, Debt & Structured Finance group, where he advised owners, operators, and developers on raising capital across diverse asset classes. During his tenure, he helped secure nearly $4 billion in debt and equity financing and built a broad network of institutional capital partners.
Sri began his career at JPMorgan Chase, spending eight years in the firm’s New York and London offices in both the Private Bank and Investment Banking Technology divisions. His international background—having lived in India, the UK, France, and the United States—provides him with a global perspective and a strong ability to navigate complex capital relationships.
Sri holds a degree from the University of Manchester (UMIST) in the United Kingdom and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He also serves on the steering committee for NYSAREN, a commercial real estate organization dedicated to fostering relationships and advancing industry insight among its 200+ members.
